SWEETGREEN

The project brief called for a sustainable salad bowl that was large enough to fit their generous salad portions but also function as a mixing bowl and a takeout container. Through various stages of experimentation we developed a hexagonal shaped bowl. The new bowl eliminated the use of metal mixing bowls resulting in faster service, less water consumption and less food waste.

The hex shaped bowl is easily recognizable and has become an iconic piece of the Sweetgreen brand.
